How to Wear Denim with Style this Winter

Here's the harsh reality: denim is not the best fabric for cold, winter weather. The cotton denim fabric that will love for most of the year isn’t great at repelling wind or wetness, which are two major concerns in cold weather. So how do we wear this core wardrobe material in winter?

Denim comes in many shapes, cuts, and designs. If like us, you have jeans, dungarees, shorts, jackets, shirts and much more — do not be resigned to letting them collect dust over the next few months. Denim has evolved. And the ways we wear denim should evolve too. Gone are the “rules” and the “guidelines” about when it “okay” to wear denim. So open your mind, get ready to check out our tips for wearing denim this winter.

Layering up or using your denim within your layering is a trending stylish look. Our denim shirts work well undersweater and denim shorts over leggings is super hot right now.
Consider denim items that have a little more protection, some come with wax coatings. This allows you to continue rocking the denim street swagger and stay warm and dry at the same time.
Denim jackets are perfect for transitioning from Summer to Fall but lambswool lined denim jackets and coats are great for transitioning to winter.
Style your skinnies or ripped jeans with over the knee or thigh boots. This is not only one of winter'smost popular looks: it is practical for staying warm. Thick socks worn out of sight or over the boot edge are great additions to this sophisticated, figure flattering look.

These are some of our styling tips but don't take our word for it, check out the looks that are sweeping across our ever colder high streets!
